How do I login?

  1. Click on the 'Log In' button located in the top right hand corner of the home page, you will be taken to the log in page. Or click on the 'available' link for the room and time of your choice.
  2. Enter your Universal Account username and password.
  3. Click on the 'Log In' button.

Who can delete/change a reservation?

Only the person who made the reservation can delete/change it. Top

How do I reserve a group study room?

Those reserving a room for 2 or more people should follow the steps below on the self-booking page. If you are a single user in need of a room to prepare a presentation call the Media Desk staff at 650-4767 to consult about availability.

1. Using the 'Choose a study room' drop down list and the 'Choose a day' drop down list navigate to the area and date for which you wish to make a reservation:

2. Click the grid for the room and time you want to reserve:

3. If you have not previously authenticated you will be required to do so before you can continue.

4. Fill in the 'Add Reservation' form: provide a group name, select a duration, and read the Reservation Guidelines. You must accept the guidelines to proceed, then click on the 'Save' button.

5. Your reservation will appear in the display for the time, room, area, and date that you made it:

How do I edit a reservation?

  1. Click on the reservation that you want to edit, this will take you to the 'View Reservation' page.
  2. Click on 'Edit Reservation'. This will take you to the 'Edit Reservation' page.
  3. You may edit the 'Group Name' or duration of your booking (Please note that the system automatically enforces the booking terms with respect to the allowable length of your reservation).
  4. Click on the 'Save' button.

Please note that only the person who created a particular reservation, or an administrator, can edit the reservation.

How do I cancel my reservation?

Follow the steps below or call the Media Desk staff at 650-4767.

  1. Click on the reservation that you want to delete, this will take you to the 'View Reservation' page.
  2. Click on 'Delete Reservation'.
  3. If you are prompted as to whether you are sure you want to delete the reservation click on 'OK'.

Please note that only the person who created a particular reservation, or an administrator, can delete the reservation.

What happens if multiple people are attempting to schedule a reservation for the same room at the same time?

The first person to click on the Save button wins. Top

What can I use a group room for?

These rooms are intended as group study or collaborative work spaces for the university community. Conducting any commercial activity or personal business is prohibited. Top

Who is eligible to reserve a room?

Active students, faculty and staff can book a group study room. A WWU Equipment Check-out webform must be completed prior to checking out a room key. Top

How many people are required to book a room?

Your group must have two or more people to reserve a room. Single users should call the Media Desk staff at 650-4767 to consult about availability. Top

What if I'm late for my reservation?

Room reservations are forfeited after 10 minutes. Top

What are the reservation guidelines?

    General Guidelines for Room Booking System

  • Choose a room that best meets your group's size and equipment needs
  • Students can book up to 2 hours at a time. The maximum period is limited to 4 hours per group per day.
  • Reservations can be made up to 14 days in advance
  • Room reservations are forfeited after 10 minutes
  • Fines are charged for late and lost keys
  • Use this system to book a room for anytime during open library hours

    Specific Guidelines for Group Study Rooms

  • Keys are picked up at the Circulation Services Desk on Haggard 2
  • Rooms can only be reserved for groups of at least two people (2 people must be present to check-out the key)

    Specific Guidelines for A/V Production Rooms

  • See the Student Tech Center for access, or check-out a key at the Circulation Services Desk on Haggard 2
  • Choose "Audio C" for recording sound and narration
  • Choose one of the Video Rooms ("Video B" or "Video D") for post-production of either audio or video materials

  • Additional equipment can be checked out at the Student Tech Center

Please refer complaints and disputes to staff at the Media Desk by calling 650-4767. Top

You may be prevented from making future reservations. Top

What kind of equipment is available in these rooms?

7 rooms are equipped with a large LCD monitor and interactive whiteboard. There is no equipment in the other rooms. You must complete a WWU Equipment Checkout webform to use this equipment. Top
